This course fulfills the REALTORS Ethics requirement that must be completed by 12/31/2024. It is designed to provide a thorough review of the Articles of the Code of Ethics, with a focus on reducing problems that may arise in real estate transactions. The course will be interactive and will encourage lively discussion about the ethical principles and guidelines outlined in the Code of Ethics. By the end of this course, participants will have a strong understanding of the Code of Ethics and how to adhere to its principles in their professional practice.

This course will equip you with the necessary skills to navigate the OPLC and NHREC websites with ease. You will learn how to locate essential FORMS and LAWS & RULES, as well as differentiate between RSA and REA. Additionally, you will gain an understanding of the requirements for licensure, including the correct forms, background checks, and character affidavits. The course will cover topics such as licensee and principal broker responsibilities, electronic signatures and recordkeeping, types of agency, property disclosure, fair housing, and other relevant issues such as property insurance, anti-trust, consumer protections, and safety issues. By the end of this course, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the rules and regulations governing the real estate industry in NH.

3 clock hours for Maine Real Estate Licensees
3 credit hours for New Hampshire Real Estate Licensees
The goal of this course is to increase awareness of potential safety risks and to help participants develop personal safety plans to reduce incidents. The course will cover current crime demographics and factors that may increase the risk of dangerous behaviors. Participants will learn about “situational awareness” and how to recognize “signs” of dangerous situations. The course will also provide guidance on how to create personal safety plans and assist in developing office policy procedures for safety. By the end of this course, learners will have a greater understanding of how to keep themselves safe in their day-to-day work as a real estate licensee.

New Hampshire requires 15 hours of continuing education to maintain a real estate license. This requirement is within a 2 year period and includes a 3 hour NH approved CORE class and 12 Elective hours of approved courses. **New licensees, those licensed after 2/1/2020 have additional class topic requirements to renew their license. Those topics include approved Post Licensing Agency, Disclosure, Contracts, and Ethics classes. Please allow extra time in case the class runs a little over the time or does not start on time- for whatever reason- please plan accordingly.
