At the same time, more and more agents are inadvertently jeopardizing their client’s positions, violating regulatory body rules and regulations, license laws, REALTOR Code of Ethics, and office policies. This class explores the best practices and raises the awareness of preserving and protecting client confidentiality in the digital space.

  Welcome to the Live Stream version of “New Construction, Do You Really Know?” You will need audio and video/webcam capabilities via a laptop, desktop or tablet (REQUIRED – NO EXCEPTIONS). Maybe you have shied away from dealing with new construction, or you are a veteran who wants to pick up a few tips. Join an instructor who has decades of experience representing clients and working with builders on new construction projects. We’ll cover effective ways to work with the developer, builder’s spec plans, financing options, construction contracts, association rules and regulations, and more!

Buyer Relationships Core Course (livestream)
3 clock hours for Maine Real Estate Licensees

Effective April 1, 2023, the Real Estate Commission core course requirement is “Buyer Relationships Core Course”. 

The course noted above is required if:

·      your license expiration date is on or after April 1, 2023 (even if you renew before April 1, 2023).

·      your license has expired and you renew on or after April 1, 2023.

·      you activate a license on or after April 1, 2023.

Licensees with a license expiration date prior to April 1, 2023, who renew prior to April 1, 2023, may fulfill their core course requirement with either “Core Course for Designated Brokers 4 – Communication” or “Core Course for Brokers and Associate Brokers 4 – Communication ” (depending on your license type) or the new core course as noted above.

There are four possible relationships you may have with a buyer: 1. Transaction broker 2. Seller agent with a buyer customer 3. Buyer agent 4. Disclosed dual agent This course will explore each relationship identifying: * when the relationship begins, * your responsibilities to buyers, and * how your responsibilities differ based on your relationship. Common issues and misunderstandings will be addressed to assist you in understanding your role and managing buyer expectations. Designated brokers, as you go through this course think about your affiliated licensees’ understanding of course material. Do they understand how their responsibilities to buyers differ depending on their relationship? What about your company policy? Does your policy reflect how business is being conducted at your company?

November 16 Required New Realtor Orientation Class, In Person, North Conway Country Club, 9:00 to 11:00.

New Hampshire requires 15 hours of continuing education to maintain a real estate license. This requirement is within a 2 year period and includes a 3 hour NH approved CORE class and 12 Elective hours of approved courses. **New licensees, those licensed after 2/1/2020 have additional class topic requirements to renew their license. Those topics include approved Post Licensing Agency, Disclosure, Contracts, and Ethics classes. Please allow extra time in case the class runs a little over the time or does not start on time- for whatever reason- please plan accordingly.
